Dear (your govenor's name),
I, (your name), a non-belligerent, non-combattant, man upon the land in the State of (your state), am writing to you today to encourage you to rescind your decision to allow unvetted Afghan refugees and illegal migrants into the State of (your state). We, the People of (your state), demand redress and remedy to your compliance with a Presidential administration that does not hold the welfare of the (your state people) and all other American peoples in highest regard. We, the People of (your state), do not support any efforts to subvert the Constitution for (your state) and the Constitution for the United States of America.
I, must first ask, why exactly are you, (your govenor's name) resettling unvetted refugees and illegal migrants in (your state) and subjecting (your state's people) to Biden's mishandling of these situations? Did you, (your govenor's name), ask We, the People of (your state), if We support this initiative? I, personally, have not ever received any document requesting my input into this matter from your office. Refugees and illegal migrants are not in the best interest of the people of (your state). (Your state's people) are already stressed with the current situation and state of (your state) and the Union of States. Yet, now, you are resettling unvetted refugees and illegal migrants to our great state. This is a Biden administration problem, as it is his, Biden's, failed policies that have led to the crisis at the southern border and in Afghanistan. This is not the problem of We, the People of (your state). I demand that you, (your govenor's name), explain to We, the People of (your state), in laymans terms and without legalize, how this policy of resettlement is in Our best interests, values, and welfare.
Do not get me wrong, I am not against immigration. I fully support LEGAL immigration. I do not support resettling of peoples in our State that do not hold the same values and core beliefs as the People of (your state) because of the failed policies and unconstitutional actions of the current Presidential Administration.
As govenor, it is your duty to administer the laws that are passed by our state legislature and as set forth in the Constitution for the United States of America. This includes any and all immigration laws. As you are full aware, you do not have the full support of the People of (your state) after your tyrannical mandates of the COVID-19 pandemic. You do not have the full support of the People of (your state) in is this attempt to appease the Biden Administration that thwarts our laws, codes, and statutes.
There are several states in the Union that have said no to this resettlement. Why are you saying yes? What possible beneifts come from resettling unvetted peoples from nations that do not hold the values of North Dakotans?
Our Federal government has established laws on immigration. The Biden administration is failin

To date, very few treatments have been demonstrated to reduce the burden of morbidity and mortality from COVID-19. Although corticosteroids have been proven to reduce mortality in severe disease, there has been little convincing evidence on interventions that may prevent disease, reduce hospitalizations, and reduce the numbers of people progressing to critical disease and death.
Ivermectin is a well-known medicine that is approved as an antiparasitic by the World Health Organization and the US Food and Drug Administration. It is widely used in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) to treat worm infections. Also used for the treatment of scabies and lice, it is one of the World Health Organization’s Essential Medicines. With total doses of ivermectin distributed apparently equaling one-third of the present world population,5 ivermectin at the usual doses (0.2–0.4 mg/kg) is considered extremely safe for use in humans. In addition to its antiparasitic activity, it has been noted to have antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties, leading to an increasing list of therapeutic indications.
Since the start of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, both observational and randomized studies have evaluated ivermectin as a treatment for, and as prophylaxis against, COVID-19 infection. A review by the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance summarized findings from 27 studies on the effects of ivermectin for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 infection, concluding that ivermectin “demonstrates a strong signal of therapeutic efficacy” against COVID-19. Another recent review found that ivermectin reduced deaths by 75%. Despite these findings, the National Institutes of Health in the United States recently stated that “there are insufficient data to recommend either for or against the use of ivermectin for the treatment of COVID-19," and the World Health Organization recommends against its use outside of clinical trials.
Ivermectin has exhibited antiviral activity against a wide range of RNA and some DNA viruses, for example, Zika, dengue, yellow fever, and others demonstrated specific action against SARS-CoV-2 in vitro with a suggested host-directed mechanism of action being the blocking of the nuclear import of viral proteins that suppress normal immune responses. However, the necessary cell culture EC50 may not be achievable in vivo. Other conjectured mechanisms include inhibition of SARS-CoV-2 3CLPro activity (a protease essential for viral replication), a variety of anti-inflammatory effects, and competitive binding of ivermectin with the viral S protein as shown in multiple in silico studies.
The latter would inhibit viral binding to ACE-2 receptors suppressing infection. Hemagglutination via viral binding to sialic acid receptors on erythrocytes is a recently propose

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer will be stripped of emergency powers she used during the coronavirus pandemic after a 76-year-old law was repealed.
The GOP-led state House followed the Senate's lead on Wednesday in voting 60-48, largely along party lines, to support an Unlock Michigan petition seeking to eliminate the Emergency Powers of the Governor Act of 1945.
Whitmer, a Democrat, is unable to issue a veto after the state Supreme Court determined the law was unconstitutional. The repeal will not take effect until 91 days after the Legislature adjourns at the end of the year.
The Washington Examiner reached out to the governor's office for comment.
"The Michigan House approved the Unlock Michigan citizens' initiative to repeal the unconstitutional 1945 state law Gov. Gretchen Whitmer used to hold unilateral power over the people of Michigan during the COVID-19 pandemic. Your voices have been heard!" Michigan House Republicans tweeted following the vote.
MICHIGAN SENATE VOTES TO REPEAL GOVERNOR'S EMERGENCY LOCKDOWN POWERS
The "measure protects the fundamental structure of representation in government and is a win for democracy," said state Rep. Sue Allor.

In psychotherapy, people who've been abused often cannot identify the abuse as evil. They can't bear to think there are people who take pleasure from injury and domination. Citizens across the world are currently being abused, and must face the fact that there are evil people intentionally trying to hurt them

HHS P3CO Framework
At the conclusion of the deliberative process, HHS issued its Framework for Guiding Funding Decisions about Proposed Research Involving Enhanced Potential Pandemic Pathogens (HHS P3CO Framework)(link is external). This HHS P3CO Framework is responsive to and in accordance with the Recommended Policy Guidance for Departmental Development of Review Mechanisms for Potential Pandemic Pathogen Care and Oversight(link is external) issued by OSTP. The Framework guides HHS funding decisions on proposed research that is reasonably anticipated to create, transfer, or use PPPs resulting from the enhancement of a pathogen’s transmissibility and/or virulence in humans (enhanced PPP) and seeks to preserve the benefits of life sciences research involving enhanced PPPs while minimizing potential biosafety and biosecurity risks. Unlike the 2014 funding pause, the HHS P3CO Framework is not limited to certain pathogens. The HHS P3CO Review Group includes experts in scientific research, biosafety, biosecurity, medical countermeasures, law, ethics, public health preparedness and response, biodefense, select agent regulations, and public health policy. Research deemed acceptable under the HHS P3CO Framework must be conducted in an appropriate laboratory with stringent oversight and biosafety and biosecurity controls.
Once the HHS P3CO review and oversight process was in place, NIH announced in December 2017 that it was lifting the funding pause on NIH-supported research. Since that time, NIH has funded two projects(link is external) involving enhanced PPP research subsequent to review by the HHS P3CO Review Group. Both projects involved influenza virus. The HHS P3CO Review Group determined that for both research proposals, there were no feasible, equally effective alternative methods to address the same question in a manner that poses less risk, and that the research was acceptable for HHS funding. NIH makes all funded research publicly available on NIH RePORTER. Pre-funding information about unfunded individual proposals is not made public to preserve confidentiality and protect sensitive information, preliminary data, and intellectual property.
It's not just Afghanistan -- Americans are losing faith in Biden on many issues
Analysis by Harry Enten, CNN 1 hr ago
President Joe Biden's approval rating is at its lowest point in his presidency. In the average of polls, he stands at about 47%. That's a steady decline from the beginning of this month (51%), last month (52%) and beginning of June (54%).
President Joe Biden speaks about the bombings at the Kabul airport that killed at least 12 U.S. service members, from the East Room of the White House, Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, in Washington.
It would be easy to assign Biden's decline to the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan, but, as the data shows, Biden has been trending downward for a while. The truth is that he is losing ground on a number of key issues.
The coronavirus pandemic, for example, had been one of Biden's best issues. He was trusted more than former President Donald Trump to handle it in poll after poll during last year's election. Trump likely would have won in 2020 had people trusted him more.
Biden's approval rating on the coronavirus had consistently been in the 60s for the first six months of his presidency. That declined to the high 50s in July and has been sunk to the 50s in the month of August.
Biden's overall approval rating has declined at a similar rate to his coronavirus pandemic approval rating.
